~ Congratulations to Christina Consolino for placing First Honorable Mention for Mainstream Novel at Oklahoma Writers' Federation, Inc. with her work
After We've Fallen, (Spring 2018).
~ Three of our six Plot Sisters have work published in the 2017 edition of Flights, the literary magazine of Sinclair Community College. All six Plot Sisters are devoted to literary citizenship and being part of a local print publication is a joy. Two pieces are fiction: Chris Consolino's "Ushering Georgia" and Jen Messaro's "Value Judgement." Jude Walsh's essay "Bloodletting" was also awarded firsts place in Sinclair Community College Writing Contest in adult creative nonfiction.

~ Jude performed a verbal telling of Finishing at Wiley's Comedy Joint in the Grand Story Slam of Dayton June 2018 and she won first place at Story Slam Dayton, In Control, November 21, 2017.
~Jude was accepted as a contributor to Chicken Soup for the Soul: Inspiration for Teacherswith her essay "Bonus Pay". (April 2017)
~Jude's essay, "The Unfolding Story", is included in The Magic of Memoir: Inspiration for the Writing Journey, edited by Linda Joy Myers and Brooke Warner and is published by SheWrites Press (November 2016).
